About Quantum Laundry Lounge
Quantum Laundry Lounge, LLC is a laundromat located in Anchorage, Alaska. The laundromat was founded in 2020 by JR Wilcox, a local entrepreneur, Kevin Cross, a real estate broker, and Julian Martin, a previous owner/operator of a commercial laundry service. This diverse trio work together to operate Quantum with JR taking the lead on administrative matters, Julian managing the equipment front, and Kevin handing personnel. Quantum Laundry Lounge derives its name from the machines they have for use, Speed Queen Quantum Touch laundry machines. These machines are a technological leap forward compared to other machines typically seen in laundromats and are equipped with full-color touch screens that deliver an experience similar to a smart phone. Since its inception, Quantum Laundry Lounge has grown, adding commercial machines to their services. To accommodate their growing business, Quantum purchased an old fire station in the Mat-Su Valley, which is equipped with large capacity utility lines, perfect for their commercial services.
