ACE Hardware Top of the World is an ASRC shareholder-owned ACE Hardware franchise located in Utqiaġvik. This store is a member of the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the industry, and is currently the only place in Utqiaġvik where hardware supplies can be obtained.

Alaska Growth Capital initially awarded a North Slope Marketplace award to the borrower, Robert “Tak” Alred and his wife, Florence, who successfully executed their business plan. As a result, AGC was able to extend two additional loans to cover their startup, inventory, and franchise fees, with the business celebrating their grand opening in April 2017.
