About Mo’s Deli
IGLU Food Service, LLC dba Mo’s Deli is an Anchorage restaurant providing high-quality deli food with an Alaska twist. Betty Sheldon, Alaska Native from Noorvik, Alaska, and her husband Jason Ellis opened Mo’s Deli in 2018. The company is named after Jason’s Brooklyn-raised Jewish grandfather, who was known as Mo. Jason and Betty wanted to open a restaurant that reminded them of a New York delicatessen, and that carried on the strong Jewish tradition of deli cuisine. Mo’s Deli has a restaurant location as well as a catering and delivery service.
AGC Services Provided
In 2018, Alaska Growth Capital provided Mo’s Deli with an SBA loan that funded equipment, inventory, and working capital to start the business.
