Tastee Freez Alaska, LLC is an iconic business in Anchorage that offers specialty soft serve ice cream, sundaes, shake malts, and an extensive all-American menu with a variety of burgers and sandwiches. However, they are best known for hosting non-profit fundraising events, giving back to the community, partnering with schools, and being an all-around Ambassador of Good Deeds. Tastee Freez was established in 1958 in Anchorage and is part of the Wienerschnitzel franchise. It is currently owned by Linwood and Darlene Stowe. Tastee Freez is located near Kincaid Park in Anchorage and their business is frequented by skiers, runners, and bikers after long stints on Kincaid’s trails. The Stowes looks forward to carrying on the businesses traditions and maintaining its stellar reputation in the community of Anchorage.
